Service Supplier Visa
Overview
The Service Supplier visa is for overseas service providers or self-employed professionals delivering services in the UK under an international trade agreement. This route is for temporary work and does not lead to settlement.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify, you must:
- Be a national of a country with a UK trade agreement
- Work for a service provider overseas or be a self-employed professional
- Be providing services covered under an eligible trade agreement
- Have at least 12 months’ prior experience with the employer (or self-employed status)
- Hold a valid Certificate of Sponsorship from a UK sponsor
Salary Requirements
There is no specific salary threshold, but roles must meet standard industry rates and be eligible under the trade agreement.
English Language Requirement
There is no English language requirement for this visa route.
Can I Bring Family?
Yes. You can bring:
- Your partner (spouse or unmarried partner)
- Children under 18 (including those born in the UK during your visa stay)
Dependants are allowed to work and study in the UK.
How Long Can You Stay?
You can stay in the UK for up to 6 or 12 months depending on the agreement terms. Extensions may be possible but this visa does not lead to settlement.
